On 12–13 June 2026, the annual US-CEE Connection Weekend conference took place — this year’s edition was held in Kraków.
What is US-CEE Connection Weekend
US-CEE Connection Weekend is an annual conference bringing together lawyers, business leaders, academics, representatives of public administration, civil society organisations and students interested in the evolving relationship between the United States and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The event serves as a forum for examining transatlantic perspectives on current legal, economic, political and social issues.
Each edition centres on a significant leading theme reflecting current regulatory trends and challenges on both sides of the Atlantic. Participants discuss key areas such as capital markets, international trade, sustainable development, digital transformation, corporate governance and the competitiveness of the legal and economic systems of the European Union and the United States. Alongside substantive lectures, expert panels and interactive workshop sessions, the conference also offers accompanying events that foster and strengthen transatlantic ties.
Our firm as a partner of the initiative
We are proud to note that our firm has been a partner of US-CEE Connection Weekend from the very inception of the initiative. We support the conference’s mission — creating a space for substantive dialogue and building lasting relationships that connect the legal, business and academic communities of the United States and Central and Eastern Europe.
Lecture by Szymon Gostyński
On 12 June 2026, Gostyński i Wspólnicy partner Szymon Gostyński took an active part in the Kraków edition of the conference, delivering a lecture entitled:
“Courts, Counsel and Settlements: Comparative Perspectives on Civil Dispute Resolution”
For our firm, taking part in US-CEE Connection Weekend is not only an honour but also an expression of our consistent commitment to advancing legal and economic cooperation between the United States and the Central and Eastern European region. We look forward to future editions of the conference.
